Marinus Dijkhuizen has been announced as the new manager of Cambuur Leeuwarden.

Dijkhuizen, who will take charge officially later this summer, has signed a contract for one season. Sipke Hulshoff will be his assistant.
Cambuur Leeuwarden can gain promotion to the Eredivisie in the promotion play-offs where they face MVV Maastricht in the second round with the 1st leg away on May 18th .
As a player Marinus Dijkhuizen played for Cambuur Leeuwarden between 1996 – 1999 and 2007 -2008 in his last season as a professional player. He previously managed NAC Breda , Brentford FC and Excelsior Rotterdam .
