RMC Sport are reporting that Olympique Marseille have told Kevin Strootman that he can leave the club this summer.

Strootman moved to France last summer on a five-year deal with Marseille paying AS Roma a fee of €25 million for the midfielder.

However, Marseille are said to be “very disappointed” by Strootman’s performances this season and he has been told to find a new club.

The Netherlands international’s performances are not the only problem with Marseille also concerned with Strootman’s fitness.

The former Utrecht and PSV star needs to leave to free up space in Marseille’s wage bill and is available on a permanent deal or on loan.

Sky Sports reported last week that he had been offered to both Everton and Manchester United.
