The 25-year-old has spent the last six months on loan with Stoke City and was expected to remain at the club on a permanent basis. However, with Porto set to sell Felipe to Juventus it seems that the Portuguese side are hoping to give Martins Indi another chance.

Speaking to Fox Sports, the 25-year-old said on his future, “Well, there were rumours but I’m going back to FC Porto. I will try hard to do my best.”

On the rumour of Porto selling Felipe, Martins Indi said, “It is certain that I must return to Porto, for the rest, there is nothing to say.”

Martins Indi wouldn’t rule out a permanent move to Stoke happening if things dont’s work out in Portugal,  “You never know business is business.”
