There are two things that concern me. One, I think that De Jong should play in front of the back four allowing Schone to be more offensive because he will shoot more than De Jong. Two, Zichyech is too INCONSISTENT. Ajax over the last four matches should have scored at least 12 goals. Dolberg should play instead Ziyech because he would have scored at least 3 goals.
I don’t agree on your point about Ziyech. While his finishing isn’t great, he is dangerous and involved in creating chances. This was evident in the 2nd half when he got moved into a more central position – created havoc in the Juve defense.
Playing Dolberg means moving Tadic out to the wing, where he hasn’t been as successful.
No reason whatsoever for Ten Hag to mess with a starting 11 that dispatched 2 heavyweights, none whatsoever.
