The Dutch international left Manchester United for Lyon last January after failing to live up to expectations in England. He has regained some form in France but has come under criticism for his performances so far this season.
Despite not being a regular starter at the moment for Lyon, Memphis has big ambitions and has told PSV Supporter that he expects a move to Real Madrid in the future, “I think I’m going to Real Madrid. Yes, that’s a serious goal.
“When it’s so far, that’s only God, He helps me and brings me there.”
Looking back on his time with PSV, he added, “I had very nice things at PSV, but I wanted to reach higher goals in my career. At Lyon, I’m very pleased. The club is in a way comparable to PSV.”
Nothing wrong with this ambition. Now stop thinking god will bring you there and go earn it!
Maybe if you stayed in the eredivisie, mastered your art then left once fully accomplished you would of had a chance.
Instead you scored 20 goals in a weak league one time and think your ready to walk in with the best?
Dellusiinal.
The only players that make it,master their ary then move on older-Gini or move to clubs they are guarunteed to start in and grow as players at-virgil.
