Lyon hammered OGC Nice 5-0 on Sunday with both Memphis Depay and Kenny Tete playing key roles.

OGC Nice went into the game without Wesley Sneijder, who has an issue with his thigh, but both Kenny Tete and Memphis Depay started for Lyon.

After only five minutes, Lyon took the lead through Memphis, who found the bottom corner with an acrobatic finish from the edge of the box. Tete then crossed for Maxwel Cornet to make it 2-0 on 20 minutes before Mariano added a third.

Seven minutes before the break, Memphis added his second with an excellent curling effort from outside the area which found the bottom corner. The Dutch international was then given a deserved rest as he came off on 79 minutes. Myziane Maolida added a fifth for Lyon late on.

Memphis has definitely rediscovered his top form in France and now has eight goals in 13 league games this season.
