According to Voetbal International, Morocco are trying to convince AZ Alkmaar talent Mohamed Taabouni to choose them over the Netherlands.

The 18-year-old midfielder has been a member of Netherlands youth teams for years, winning the U17 European Championships last summer.
The Haarlem-born talent is now being chased by the Moroccan football association. A representative of the Moroccan union recently contacted Taabouni’s camp and several phone calls have followed.
Taabouni has been promoted to the AZ Alkmaar first-team next season, and does not need to make a decision over his international future yet. The next international period takes place in September.
