castaignos jjThe away side made a bright start in Breda, with both defender Darryl Lachman, and striker Luc Castaignos sending headers just wide of the target. On 17 minutes Twente did take the lead, and it was Castaignos who found the goal, firing through Jelle ten Rouwelaar’s legs from inside the box.

It should have been 2-0 for Twente before the break, but new boy Hakim Ziyech could not beat Rouwelaar when put through one-on-one with the Breda stopper.

Ten minutes into the 2nd half Twente were reduced to ten men, as centre back Andreas Bjelland was shown his second yellow card of the game, but despite having n extra man NAC Breda struggled to take advantage.

Stipe Perica had an effort chalked off for offside as NAC looked to find a way through a determined Twente defence, while Uros Matic saw a shot saved by Nick Marsman.

Twente looked like they were going to hold on for three points, but in the 90th minute NAC were awarded a a penalty, and Adnane Tighadouini made no mistake in rescuing his side a point.

It is now three draws in a row for Twente, while NAC gain their second point of the season.
