The 18-year-old joined Racing Genk in Belgium on loan in the summer, but made only 12 appearances for the club, and that has allowed NAC Breda to swoop and bring the young talent to the Netherlands.
Hans Smulders, technical manager of NAC, told the club’s official website, “This player is considered a great talent,”
“Manchester City want to see him play in Breda, because they would like to know how he performs under the pressure of a title contender with thousands of spectators in the stands. With NAC, Ünal will get the chance to develop further. ”
Unal has one cap for the Turkish national team.
