Netherlands just missed out on lifting the Nations League trophy after a 1-0 defeat to Portugal in Sunday’s final.
Despite the loss it has been an excellent tournament for Oranje, who saw off France, Germany and England to reach the final.
On Monday, UEFA announced their team of the tournament based on FedEx performance scores and four Dutchmen made the eleven. Ajax duo Matthijs de Ligt and Frenkie de Jong are in there along with Atalanta’s Marten de Roon and Lyon forward Memphis Depay.
No Virgil Van Dijk. No, really, Virgil Van Dijk not included. No, Really?
