The Danish defender is impressing in the NEC backline and is reportedly attracting interest from abroad with Newcastle United linked, along with Eredivisie side Heerenveen.
However when asked about the rumours, Dumic told Omroep Gelderland that he had heard nothing from Newcastle and was only concentrating on NEC and their bid to remain in the Eredivisie.
Dumic said, “I myself heard nothing. I want to stay here, but you never know what happens in football. Now I focus entirely on the situation here. We have to stay in the Eredivisie and we are fighting for it,”
The 24-year-old started in the Norwich City academy before joining Brondby in 2010. After 92 appearances for the Danish side he joined NEC on loan last January before making the move permanent in the summer.
