rayhi-necThe 22-year-old winger picked up an ankle injury during last weekend’s Gelderland derby with Vitesse. N.E.C have now revealed, via their official website, that the prognosis is not good with the winger having teared his ankle ligaments.

As a result, Rayhi is expected to miss between two and four weeks as he undergoes rehabilitation. This means he will miss some key fixtures for N.E.C with the team taking on FC Utrecht, Groningen, Ajax and FC Twente during this time.

Mohamed Rayhi has been a consistent performer for N.E.C this season, playing six games and scoring once during the 2-1 defeat to Feyenoord.
