NEC Nijmegen are getting tired of waiting for Fenerbahce to pay the full amount for midfielder Ferdi Kadioglu.

In the summer of 2018, Fenerbahce signed the Netherlands U21 international for a fee of €1.4 million but since then, NEC have only received half of that money.

NEC general manager Wilco van Schaik said on the Jarda Podcast that the club have now contacted FIFA over receiving the money.

He said, “We had to respond before 10 November and we are now awaiting a decision. It seems to be very busy there, unprecedented for us.

“It is nice for Ferdi that he plays there, but it is really crazy that we are still waiting for that money. We hope that there will be an outcome in January, that payment must be made quickly.”

Fenerbahce have been going through a financial crisis in recent years.
