NEC Nijmegen eased to a 3-0 win over a hapless ADO Den Haag on Saturday evening.

necadoADO Den Haag arrived in Nijmegen looking for a turn in fortune having lost three on the bounce, but they were overun by the home side in the first half and found themselves 3-0 down by the break.

NEC opened the scoring on ten minutes with Kevin Mayi racing onto a fine Ferdi Kadioglu’s through ball before slotting the ball past Ernestas Setkus. Two minutes later it was 2-0 as Tyronne Ebuehi diverted Dario Dumix’s effort into his own net. Mohamed Rayhi added the third just before the break with a calm finish past Setkus.

ADO Den Haag improved after the break, but they couldn’t find a way back into the game and NEC comfortably held out to take a simple victory. NEC are now 11th, while ADO Den Haag drop to 15th.
