Ajax winger David Neres has been called into the Brazil national team for the first time after Vinicius Junior pulled out.

The 22-year-old was missing from the initial Brazil squad for their friendlies with Panama and the Czech Republic later this month.

However, Vinicius Junior suffered an injury during Real Madrid’s loss against Ajax this week and Neres has now been called up to replace him.

Its a reward for the winger who has scored six goals and contributed 13 assists in 37 appearances for Ajax this season.
