The Netherlands will be in pot one for the 2024 European Championship qualifying draw which takes place on the 9th of October.

Thanks to the Nations League group win, the Netherlands will head into the draw as one of the four nations that will be guaranteed a five-country group, along with Croatia, Spain, and Italy. Denmark, Portugal, Belgium, Hungary, Switzerland, and Poland also sit in pot one.
Just because the Netherlands is in pot one, does not mean that Oranje will not possibly face a difficult group. France and England sit in pot two because of their poor Nations League performances.
The top two from each group automatically qualifyย with the Netherlands having a safety net.ย If it does not finish in the first two in the European Championship qualifying series, the Netherlands will end up in the playoffs, thanks to the Nations League.
