Donyell Malen had a dream Netherlands debut on Friday night with the attacker scoring in the 4-2 win over Germany.

The PSV Eindhoven striker came off the bench in the second half with Germany winning 1-0 but he scored Netherlands third goal as Oranje came back to win 4-2.

After the game, Malen told Fox Sports, “I am a bit speechless, I just had to recover.

“This is a dream for every young boy, and the fact that I can make it come true makes me very proud and happy. Now enjoy it and we go again on Monday.”

Malen then revealed he gave a speech in the dressing room, “I gave a small speech in the dressing room in which I said that I am very happy and very grateful that I can be with the Dutch national team, that the boys took good care of me and of course I also thanked Gini. I think it was quite a nice speech. ”
