Rafael van der Vaart was helping conduct the draw on Monday which saw Netherlands placed into Group G.
Turkey was the first nation drawn to face Oranje, before Norway also joined the group. These appear to be the two toughest nations for Frank de Boer, with Turkey having a number of dangerous players including Orkun Kokcu, while Norway have a new golden generation containing Erling Haaland and Martin Odegaard.
The group was completed by Montenegro, Latvia and Gibraltar with the games getting underway in March.
Only the group winner will directly qualify for the World Cup with the runners up heading into playoffs.
