With no national team boss in place, KNVB CEO Eric Gudde and secretary-general Gijs de Jong represented the Netherlands at the draw on Wednesday morning. They saw Oranje placed along with European giants France and Germany in League 1 Group A, which is already being called the group of death.

The group games will take place between September and November this year with the four group winners progressing to the final four, who will play for the trophy in 2019. Nations that finish bottom of their group will be relegated to League B.

The four group winners in each league will also play-off for the chance to grab one of four spots at Euro 2020.

The fixture dates will be announced at a later date.
