Netherlands boss Ronald Koeman has revealed his 28-man provisional squad for the upcoming finale to the UEFA Nations League.

On the 6th of June, Netherlands face England in the Nations League semi-finals before a possible final or third place playoff against Portugal or Switzerland.
Koeman’s squad has no surprises or debutantes as the Oranje coach continues with the same group of players that got Netherlands to the final four.
The full provisional squad is:
Goalkeepers: Marco Bizot (AZ), Jasper Cillessen (Barcelona), Kenneth Vermeer (Feyenoord), Jeroen Zoet (PSV).
Defenders: Patrick van Aanholt (Crystal Palace), Nathan Aké (AFC Bournemouth), Daley Blind (Ajax), Virgil van Dijk (Liverpool), Denzel Dumfries (PSV), Terence Kongolo (Huddersfield Town), Matthijs de Ligt (Ajax), Kenny Tete (Olympique Lyon), Stefan de Vrij (Internazionale).
Midfielders: Donny van de Beek (Ajax), Frenkie de Jong (Ajax), Davy Pröpper (Brighton & Hove Albion), Marten de Roon (Atalanta Bergamo), Pablo Rosario (PSV), Kevin Strootman (Olympique Marseille), Tonny Vilhena (Feyenoord), Georginio Wijnaldum (Liverpool).

Klaassen over Strootman for me! I know Padt screwed up, but I like him over Vermeer. But other than that, it’s better than it use to be! Also, give Willems a chance at LB if nobody else wants to step up or start Aké!
Can’t argue too much with the squad as absent the last home Germany match their performances under Koeman have been quite good.
Hopefully the Ajax contingent will all play and be extra-motivated against England 🙂
I think that they should play with Gini and FDJ as the two holding midfielders and play Van de Beek as a number 10. VdB will be able to add some much needed intensity as a number 10 and he also defends a lot.
