Netherlands boss Guus Hiddink has announced his 25-man squad for this months European Championship qualifiers against Kazakhstan and Iceland.

After losing their first qualifier to Czech Republic last month, Netherlands host Kazakhstan on the 10th of October before traveling to Iceland three days later in search of their first win.
Dirk Kuyt announced his retirement from international football earlier in the day, so he was dropped from the provisional squad along with Kenneth Vermeer, and Sven van Beek, who must wait to make his debut for the national team. Davy Propper also misses out through injury, while Rafael van der Vaart has been overlooked.
Spartak Moscow winger Quincy Promes, Ajax midfielder Davy Klaassen, Celtic’s centre back Virgil van Dijk and PSV goalkeeper Jeroen Zoet all make the cut.
