The draw for the group phase of the Nations League was made on Thursday with the Netherlands learning their opponents.

The Netherlands were in pot two for the draw so they knew they were going to face one of the top seeds in the group. They were drawn against Germany, who they also played during the last Nations League.

They were also drawn alongside Serbia from Pot three and Greece from pot four. It will be the first time that Oranje has faced Serbia as their previous meeting with the nation was when they were called Serbia & Montenegro.

During the qualification for Euro 2024, The Netherlands faced Greece, winning both games.

The top two teams from each group progress to the quarter-finals, while the nation that finishes bottom will be relegated. The tournament begins in September.
