Coach Maarten Stekelenburg has named his Netherlands U17’s squad which will compete at this months European Championships in Bulgaria.

Netherlands start the tournament on the 7th of May with a tie against the Republic of Ireland, before their other group games with Italy and England. Netherlands finished second in last years tournament and will be hoping to go one step further this time.
Included in the squad are Manchester United defender Timothy Fosu Mensah, Real Madrid’s Mink Peeters, and Ajax midfielder Carel Eiting, who this week signed his first professional contract with the Amsterdam club.
The full squad is as follows:
Goalkeepers: Justin Bijlow (Feyenoord), Thijmen Nijhuis (FC Utrecht)
Defenders: Rick van Drongelen (Sparta Rotterdam), Sherel Floranus (Sparta Rotterdam), Timothy Fosu-Mensah (Manchester United), Mats Knoester (Feyenoord), Matthijs de Ligt (Ajax), Giovanni Troupée (FC Utrecht)
Midfielders: Teun Bijleveld (AZ), Reda Boultam (Ajax), Carel Eiting (Ajax), Mink Peeters (Real Madrid), Dani de Wit (Ajax)
