Netherlands U19’s will be part of the European Championships this summer after coming top of their Elite round qualifying group.

oranje u19 sideAaron Winter’s side went into the final group game with Poland top of their group after wins over Ukraine and Northern Ireland, and needed only a point to seal their place in Germany.

The tie with Poland was a nervy affair, but the Oranje held out for a 0-0 draw which was enough to ensure Netherlands will be part of the eight team tournament, which takes place between the 11th and 24th of July.

Netherlands have never won the U19 Euros in three previous attempts.
