Netherlands women scored six goals in the second half as they ended their European Championship qualification campaign with a 6-0 victory over Kosovo.

After the friendly loss to the USA last week, Netherlands were hoping to end their Euro qualifying campaign in style.

However, despite lining up in a 3-3-4 formation, Netherlands couldn’t open the scoring in the first-half.

That chanced in the 47th minute as Katja Snoeijs opened the scoring after some poor defending from Kosovo. Jill Roord quickly made it 2-0 with a free-kick.

Lieke Martens added the third as Netherlands finally started to take their chances. Roord got a second too but the star of the night was Snoeijs who completed a hattrick to seal a 6-0 victory.

Netherlands won all ten of their Euro qualifying games, scoring 48 goals. The Oranje vrouwen look well prepared to defend their crown when the Euro’s takes place in 2022.
