The Coronavirus hurt Netherlands preparations for the game with both Defender Aniek Nouwen and goalkeeper trainer Erskine Schoenmakers leaving the camp as a precaution.
After half an hour, Netherlands also lost Danielle van de Donk to an ankle injury.
The game was even but just after the break, goalkeeper Lize Kop saw a straight red card for a foul on Nichelle Prince.
Despite playing forty minutes with one player less, Netherlands held on for a draw, with the post and substitute goalkeeper Loes Geurts playing key roles.
On Tuesday, Netherlands will face hosts France.
