The draw for the 2021 Women’s European Championship qualifiers took place on Thursday with Netherlands handed a favourable draw.

Netherlands women are reigning European Champions having lifted the trophy for the first time on home soil back in 2019. They will look to defend that crown in two years time.

On Thursday the qualifying draw took place with Netherlands placed into Group A alongside Russia, Slovenia, Turkey, Kosovo and Estonia.

The group winners and the three runners-up with the best record against the sides first, third, fourth and fifth in their sections will join hosts England in the final tournament. The other six runner’s up will then head into the playoffs for the final three slots.

The qualifiers begin in August.
