Netherlands Women have warmed up for the start of the World Cup with a comfortable 3-0 victory over Australia.

Netherlands final warm-up game was watched by a record crowd in PSV Eindhoven’s Philips Stadion. 30,640 spectators is a record for a Netherlands women’s match on Dutch soil.
The home crowd were treated to a fine performance by Sarina Wiegman’s side who were too strong for an Australia side ranked two places ahead of Netherlands.
Just before the break it was 1-0 as Shanice van de Sanden headed in Sherida Spitse’s cross.
Australia then had a goal disallowed for offside before Vivienne Miedema made it 2-0 with a fine finish.
After 70 minutes, van de Sanden sealed Netherlands victory with a fierce shot after receiving the ball from a corner.
Netherlands begin their World Cup campaign against New Zealand on the 11th of June.
