kosterThe 59 year old has previously worked in the similar capacity at the likes of Ajax, Club Brugge and many other clubs.

This is what Koster had to say upon his appointment to the KNVB website,

“I’m really looking forward to working with them. It was a talented group In 2012 when I was coach of Dutch pledge team, and i know that working with the best talent of Netherlands is fantastic. Our short-term goal is to qualify for the European Championships. In Which I have full confidence, because we’re in good shape”

This is what KNVB technical director Jelle Goes had to say,

“Koster is a very experienced coach. He has 29 years in various positions and with several clubs as a coach. A major reason for the KNVB to attract Koster is that in addition to his extensive experience as a head coach at both Dutch and Ajax’s youth teams he  has proven that he can work well with young talented players”
