Newcastle United have suffered a major blow after goalkeeper Tim Krul was ruled out for the rest of the season.

Krul was forced off before the end of Netherlands 2-1 win over Kazakhstan on Saturday, and was pictured leaving the stadium on crutches.
After tests on Sunday Newcastle United announced that Krul has suffered a cruciate ligament injury in his knee and will not return to action this season.
The injury is a major blow for Newcastle, who currently sit bottom of the Premier League.
