Fox Sports is reporting on Sunday that Newcastle United are showing serious interest in signing PSV Eindhoven goalkeeper Jeroen Zoet.

The Premier League side are keen on signing a new goalkeeper before the window shuts in four days and were said to be interested in Pepe Reina of Napoli. However, Fox Sports are reporting that Newcastle United have now turned their attention to Zoet.
The PSV goalkeeper has been linked with Crystal Palace and more recently Benfica during this summer, but the Portuguese side were reportedly put off by his €10 million price tag.
Newcastle United are said to be willing to add Tim Krul as part of the deal for Zoet, although PSV may already have a replacement at the club with Eloy Room signing from Vitesse earlier this month.
