Kaj Sierhuis’s Stade de Reims debut ended in disappointment on Wednesday evening.

After making the move to France from Groningen/Ajax on deadline day, Sierhuis was placed in the starting eleven for the clash with OGC Nice.

However, after only thirteen minutes, Sierhuis suffered a hamstring injury and had to be substituted.

The 21-year-old’s new side then drew the game 1-1. The striker will now undergo tests to determine the severity of his injury.
