The Dutch winger has been in great form since joining Club Brugge from Ajax in the summer, and on Saturday he reached a big milestone for his new club.
In the eleventh minute, Lang picked up the ball on the wing, skipped past a challenge and then fired low into the bottom corner. It was Lang’s 10th league goal of the season.
The Dutchman then sealed the victory in the 94th minute with a great finish after a pass from fellow Oranje U21 international Tahith Chong. Ruud Vormer, Stefano Denswil, and Bas Dost all featured in the game for the Belgian league leaders.
Lang now has eleven goals and seven assists in 18 league games for Club Brugge. Will he take his place in Frank de Boer’s Netherlands squad next month?
