Dijks loan to Norwich City was revealed on Monday and the deal was officially confirmed by Norwich City on Tuesday evening. The left-back joins the Championship side until the end of the season but a clause has been included which can make the deal permanent.
Norwich have also signed Dutch winger Yanic Wildschut from Wigan for a fee of €8 million, with the winger signing a two-and-a-half year deal.
Wildschut told Norwich City TV, “The moment Norwich were interested, I felt good about it.
“After speaking to the manager, it was an easy decision for me. This is what I need at this stage of my career, so for me it was a no-brainer.
“It’s a step up for me. I really enjoyed my time with Wigan, but I’m now looking forward to the promotion chase here and hopefully I can help with that.”
Wildschut joined Wigan from Middlesbrough permanently last January and the former Heerenveen forward made 46 league appearances, scoring ten goals.
