Inter Milan have confirmed the appointment of Dutchman Frank de Boer as their new head coach on a three-year-deal.

The 46-year-old arrived in Milan on Monday to iron out the final few details on his contract and the club announced his appointment on their website early on Tuesday morning. They will present De Boer to the media on Tuesday at 2pm.
Before his presentation, De Boer will lead his first training session and will be in the dugout when Inter face Borussia Monchengladbach in a pre-season friendly on Wednesday. The Serie A season begins for Inter on the 21st of August with an away tie at Chievo.
The Dutchman takes four familiar faces with him to Inter: assistant coach Orlando Trustfull Alessandro Schoenmaker, Michele Santoni and Michel Kreek.
