Ongenda signs a three and half year contract at Zwolle as he looks to get his career back on track after minimal playing time at PSG. The winger joins Zwolle on a free transfer, according to AD.nl, and becomes the second signing this transfer window following the addition of Sweden’s Erik Isaelsson.

Ron Jans, coach of Zwolle, made no secret of his desire to sign attacking players this January with his side only scoring sixteen goals in the Eredivisie this season. This has left the club in a disappointing sixteenth position just four points above the relegation play-off zone.

Ongenda can play on both the left and right wings, Zwolle will be hoping he provides the scoring threat that can rescue their disappointing season.
