Netherlands U21 coach Fred Grim has named his provisional squad for the Euro qualifiers with Slovakia and Belarus.

dos santoAfter making a great start to their qualifying campaign for the 2017 European Championships, Netherlands U21’s were shocked by a defeat at home to Slovakia last month. Grim’s side will look for revenge when they travel to Slovakia on the 17th of November, while they face Belarus five days earlier.

Twente striker Jari Oosterwijk and AZ Alkmaar midfielder Dabney dos Santos have earned their first call-ups to the Jong Oranje, while big names such as Tonny Vilhena, Daley Sinkgraven and Ricardo Kishna are involved.

The full squad is as follows:

Goalkeepers: Joël Drommel (FC Twente), Maarten de Fockert (sc Heerenveen), Mickey van der Hart (PEC Zwolle), Hidde Jurjus (De Graafschap).

Defender: Nathan Aké (Watford), Sven van Beek (Feyenoord), Peet Bijen (FC Twente), Joshua Brenet (PSV), Hans Hateboer (FC Groningen), Wesley Hoedt (Lazio), Rick Karsdorp (Feyenoord), Sean Klaiber (FC Utrecht), Bas Kuipers (Excelsior), Derrick Luckassen (AZ), Jerry St. Juste (SC Heerenveen), Lucas Woudenberg (NEC).

Midfielders: Danny Bakker (ADO Den Haag), Thom Haye (AZ), Jorrit Hendrix (PSV), Joris van Overeem (AZ), Daley Sinkgraven (Ajax), Tonny Vilhena (Feyenoord).
