The winger made his FC Twente debut in 2014 at the age of 16 but after less than twenty appearances for the club he decided to move abroad on his 18th birthday to join Benfica. His move to Portugal was not a success, though, with the attacker failing to break into the first team and earlier this year his contract was terminated by mutual consent.

Utrecht have now confirmed that Ould-Chikh will train with the club ahead of a potential deal for the 19-year-old, who has represented Netherlands at U15, U18 and U19 level.
