According to Voetbal International, Groningen goalkeeper Sergio Padt has agreed to join Bulgarian side Ludogorets.

Padt is out of contract with Groningen in the summer, and has reportedly agreed to join Ludogorets on a deal until 2024.

The only question is whether Padt remains in Groningen until the end of the season or departs for Bulgaria this month. Ludogorets would like to do a deal with Groningen to get their new stopper as soon as possible.

However, Groningen are battling for a European spot this season and they do not want Padt to depart, despite the signing of Per Kristian Bratveit.

Padt has been with Groningen since mid-2014, but is now heading for the exit, either in January or the summmer.
