Sparta have now lost five of their last six league games and are still in the relegation play-offs, two points from safety with two games left to go.

Pastoor said, ”We tried everything that was possible to get a result today. My players are trying their best with a good attitude and there are still 6 points to play for.

”In the 2 games that we have left everything is possible. There are two dangers for us the first one is direct relegation and the second one is relegation play-offs and we must try to avoid both scenarios in our last two games.

”We must pick up points and not be dependent on others and if we do not pick up any points in our remaining two games then we will play the relegation play-offs at best.”
