The 33-year-old was missing from Monday’s first PSV training session as the rumours of a move to Vitesse emerged. The Arnhem club have now confirmed Pasveer’s arrival on a three-year deal.
The former Twente and Heracles stopper has played second fiddle to Jeroen Zoet since he joined PSV in 2014. In three years, he only made five Eredivisie appearances, and nine in the KNVB Cup. Pasveer joins Vitesse as competition for Eloy Room, who is being linked with a move away from Arnhem.
PSV have now lost two goalkeepers in a week, with Hidde Jurjus joining Roda JC on loan last week. Rumours on Wednesday stated the club are interested in signing Groningen’s Sergio Padt.
