John van ‘t Schip’s Zwolle will have been disappointed to have put in a drab display in front of their home support.

NAC were arguably the better side on the night and had a couple of chances to take the lead in the first half but for Mitchell te Vrede’s finishing.

In the second half, PEC were marginally better, with Vito van Crooij shooting wide and Mike van Duinen also missing the target.

In the end, Mikhail Rosheuvel came close and te Vrede had another decent chance to volley NAC to three points but it wasn’t to be for NAC who could slip to bottom tomorrow should De Graafschap surprise in Amsterdam. PEC are fourteenth.
