PEC Zwolle came back from 2-0 down at half-time to earn a 2-2 draw against Heracles Almelo.

Reza Goochannejhad had to settle for a role on the bench again despite his hat-trick at the weekend. He saw new signing Thomas Buitink start ahead of him.

In the first minute of the game, Heracles had the lead with Lucas Schoofs netting after a cross from Silvester van der Water. Schoofs then set up Delano Burgzog to double the lead just before the break after an error from goalkeeper Michael Zetterer.

Five minutes into the second-half, Buitink set up Virgil Misidjan to net his first goal for PEC Zwolle.

The goal gave the hosts hope and substitute Reza came on to head PEC Zwolle level in the 73rd minute. The striker now has four goals in two games.

There was to be no winning goal before the end with the point meaning PEC Zwolle are 12th while Heracles sits 10th.
