Talented defender Rav van den Berg has signed a new two-year deal with PEC Zwolle, despite interest from several top clubs.

The 15-year-old, brother of Liverpool defender Sepp van den Berg, has signed the new deal, which will take effect on his 16th birthday.
It’s a relief for PEC Zwolle with the youngster followed by top clubs including AC Milan, Liverpool, PSV Eindhoven and Ajax.
Van den Berg told the club’s website, “This feels very special. In recent years I have worked hard to sit here today and sign my first real contract. I also know that it is only now really starting, but of course I am really looking forward to it. It was really cool to walk onto the field with my family after signing, where it all has to happen in the future.”
