The 23-year-old has revealed today that he has told Heerenveen management of his desire to leave, whilst also stating a top Dutch side has been in contact with his agent over a move.

Pele van Anholt told Fox Sports, ”A Dutch club who normally ends higher in the league table then SC Heerenveen has spoken with my management, I can not tell you who the club is. I can only say it’s a club with a very fanatic support.”

According to rumours, it seems either Feyenoord or FC Twente is going to be his next club.  It’s would more than likely be FC Twente rather than Feyenoord. The Tukkers got 3 million euro’s from Norwich City for the sale of Leroy Fer to QPR and after the free transfer of Roberto Rosales to Malaga, the club still has no new right-back.

If Pele van Anholt goes to FC Twente then he is going to be reunited with Hakim Ziyech, who moved from Heerenveen to Enschede last week.
