After the game Peter Bosz told NOS, ”I think if you analyse the two teams today they are two teams that want to play football and that is why it was a neat and fair derby”.

”We always want to play the ball forward and NEC like to play above all in a very compact way and they do that well. I thought that we started the game really strongly and were the dominant team and we played in a high tempo and that is how we want to play”.

”I knew that this game would not be an overaggressive derby I do not like those types of games by the way”. ” But if you talk about a lot of flaring up and confrontation between players and describe that in the form of a derby match then I do not think that a lot of supporters would have found that attractive”.

”But today I believe that the supporters of Vitesse have seen us play really well for the first time in a while”.
