According to Voetbal International, Kik Pierie was in Amsterdam on Thursday to tie up some final details ahead of his move from Heerenveen.

Pierie had his medical at Ajax’s training ground on Thursday and the deal should be officially confirmed soon.
Ajax’s interest in the defender has been known for weeks and negotiations with Heerenveen have enter the final phase. Any deal is not set to include Dennis Johnsen, who is on loan at the Frisian club, because Heerenveen already have an option to make his move permanent.
Pierie came through the Heerenveen academy and has made 66 appearances for the first-team so far. The 18-year-old can play as a left-back but in the centre is his preferred position.
