The former Twente star netted the only goal of Spartak Moscow’s 1-0 win over Krylya Sovetov, finishing a fantastic team move after only a minute.
It continues what has been an incredible start to the season for Promes, who is the top scorer in the Russian Premier League, with ten goals in eighteen games. That’s two goals more than Brazilian star Hulk, and Russian star Artem Dzyuba.
The 23-year-old’s value continues to rise in Russia and a January scramble is expected to try and tempt the Dutch international away from Moscow, with a number of Premier League sides linked.
