Davy Propper has signed a new deal with Brighton & Hove Albion, keeping him at the Premier League club until 2023.

The former Vitesse and PSV Eindhoven midfielder joined Brighton in 2017 and has been a key player for the club ever since.

Propper’s current deal run out in 2021 but he has now extended that commitment until 2023.

Brighton manager Graham Potter told the club’s website, “I am very happy that Davy has extended. I knew what he showed here in his first two years and now that I am a manager here, I see his qualities both on and off the field. Davy is a true professional who always tries to improve on every level. I am very happy that he will remain part of our adventure for longer.”

Propper has played 97 games for Brighton so far, scoring twice and giving eight assists.
