Netherlands boss Dick Advocaat has named his provisional squad for the upcoming friendlies with Scotland and Romania.

The national team will face Scotland in Aberdeen on the 9th of November, before a trip to Bucharest five days later. The friendlies are expected to be Advocaat’s final games as head coach before a new boss takes over to prepare for the Euro 2020 qualifiers.

Wesley Sneijder missed the final two World Cup qualifiers, but he is back in the squad, while Crystal Palace left-back Patrick van Aanholt has also been named.

The full squad is as follows:
